CULT DSP Projects

Tools built
with intention.

Two instruments, each built to explore a distinct dimension of spatial signal processing. More will follow.

Spatial Root

A spatial audio processing environment that grounds signals in physical acoustic space. Spatial Root applies precision geometric rootfinding algorithms to room impulse response modelling, source localisation, and perceptual distance estimation.

Designed for researchers, spatial audio engineers, and composers working at the intersection of acoustics and perception. Built in C++ with a clean DSP-first architecture.

Spatial Seed

An algorithmic seed for spatial fields. Spatial Seed is a generative DSP toolkit that constructs evolving acoustic environments from minimal mathematical primitives — controlled stochastic processes, geometric partials, and perceptual field mappings.

Intended for composers, installation artists, and DSP researchers who want generative spatial textures that feel physically grounded rather than arbitrarily random.
